One of the most nutrient-dense meats you can purchase is our USDA Certified Organic Beef Heart, which is 100% grass-fed and finished. Cooking beef heart can be done in a few different methods, and it really depends on personal taste. Our preferred technique is to cook the heart similarly to a steak, either on a grill or in a cast-iron pan, until the internal temperature reaches 132 degrees and rests for three to five minutes to achieve the ideal medium rare.
